Man arrested, accused of throwing bag full of meth, heroin out window at Woodland gas station

A Yolo County deputy arrested a Vallejo man Wednesday morning after witnessing him throw a bag of meth, heroin and other drug paraphernalia out his window in a Woodland parking lot, authorities said.

The driver entered a gas station on North East Street, off of Interstate 5, discarded the bag on the far side of the parking lot, and then pulled up next to a pump early Wednesday morning, according to a news release by the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy contacted the driver, identified as William Gordon, 47, and discovered he was probation for possession of methamphetamine for sale, according to the sheriff’s office.

The bag contained a half-pound of methamphetamine, heroin, packaging material and digital scales, the news release said. Gordon was arrested for multiple drug-related violations.
