Oroville police seek assistance in identifying suspect who robbed bank at gunpoint

The Oroville Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying a man involved in an armed bank robbery.

Police on Dec. 13 say they responded to an alarm at Tri Counties Bank at 1180 Oro Dam Blvd., where they were told a man robbed the bank at gunpoint before fleeing on foot, according to a news release. No one was injured and police were unable to locate the suspect, who made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police describe the suspect as a white man around 6 feet tall, thin and who at the time of the robbery wore a dark coat, gloves, hat and white mask.

The Oroville Police Department ask that anyone with information related to the case contact them at 530-538-2448.
