El Dorado deputies find stolen goods and mail while serving a warrant in Shingle Springs
A warrant served by the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office on Friday led to the discovery of stolen goods, which included tools and items containing personal information, according to authorities.
Deputies served the warrant at a residence in Shingle Springs, where they discovered tool sets, mail, identification cards, checks, credit cards and similar items not associated with the household, which authorities say indicate mail and identity theft.

Deputies say they are continuing to contact victims in the areas of Foxwood, Whispering Pines and Ponderosa Road, and they ask that any residents who recognizes the tools or believe they may have been the victim of identity or mail theft contact them at 530-621-6600.
