Elk Grove police seek man who robbed El Dorado Savings Bank Monday morning
Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Elk Grove on Monday morning.
The robbery happened at the El Dorado Savings Bank branch on Grant Line Road at 10:45 a.m., according to a press release from the Elk Grove Police Department. The man received an unknown amount of money from the teller and fled the bank in a newer dark-colored sedan.
Officers converged on the area near Heritage Hill Drive and Calvine Road after getting a tip about the suspect driving there, but did not find him.
The man was wearing a yellow jacket with black sleeves, dark-colored pants and a white hardhat. He is described as a white male about 6 feet tall and weighing 185 pounds.
