Woman arrested on Christmas after third vehicle pursuit, San Joaquin deputies say

A woman was arrested on Christmas Day after what authorities said was her third run-in with them.

In a news release, San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office deputies say they spotted a green Honda they knew belonged to Amber Holden, who had two outstanding warrants for her arrest. Authorities said they had two previous pursuits with Holden.

Deputies say they attempted to conduct a traffic stop Wednesday, but Holden lead them on another pursuit. According to the release, the high-speed pursuit lasted about 3 miles before Holden’s vehicle spun out near Highway 99 and Liberty Road in Galt.

Deputies say Holden was booked into San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of attempting to evade law enforcement three separate times, along with her two arrest warrants.
