Man wounded in South Natomas shooting. Sacramento police looking for gunman
Sacramento Police are investigating an early-morning shooting in South Natomas left one man wounded Saturday.
Department spokesman Officer Justin Hanks said the man was shot just after midnight near the intersection of Fairweather Drive and Mendel Way.
The scene of the shooting is near Northgate Park, a large public park.
The man was taken to a hospital suffering from a gunshot wound in his upper body and is expected to survive, Hanks said.
As of yet there have been no arrests and there is no information on a suspect or motive, Hanks said.
