One injured in Old North Sacramento shooting, Sacramento police say
A man was injured in a Wednesday afternoon shooting in Old North Sacramento.
Sacramento Police Department spokesman Officer Justin Hanks said police received reports of gunshots around 2:55 p.m. near the intersection of Traction Avenue and Lampasas Avenue, a largely residential area.
A man was found injured and was taken to a hospital for treatment, Hanks said.
It was not immediately clear what the circumstances were, Hanks said, and officers are still on the scene investigating the shooting.
As of Wednesday afternoon, there were no arrests and no suspect information was available.
