Man shot to death in south Sacramento may have been targeted, Sheriff’s Office says
A man shot to death Saturday in south Sacramento is believed to have been targeted, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
Sgt. Tess Deterding, spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office, said deputies received reports of a shooting on the 8800 block of Ardith Drive around 10:45 a.m.
Responding deputies found a man inside a vehicle suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The deputies attempted lifesaving measures, but he was declared dead by fire personnel.
Although it is considered a targeted shooting, deputies do not currently have any information regarding possible suspects.
