Boy reported missing in Placerville found dead under suspicious circumstances, police say
A boy who was recently reported missing in Placerville was found dead Saturday.
Roman Anthony Lopez was last seen Saturday morning at his home on Coloma Street, and he was found by the Placerville Police Department after conducting a search of the neighborhood.
In a news conference Sunday afternoon, police said the 11-year-old boy’s death is being investigated as suspicious.
Police did not take questions from reporters at the conference and did not provide any further information.
