CHP looking for person of interest in fatal early morning crash in Orangevale

California Highway Patrol officers are searching for a person of interest in connection with an early morning traffic crash Sunday in Orangevale that killed one person and injured others.

In a news release, the East Sacramento-area CHP said Fair Oaks resident Brandon Douglas Reyeslangsjoen was of interest to the officers investigating into the fatal crash.

The solo-vehicle crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Madison and Main avenues, according to the CHP.

Three of the vehicle’s five occupants were taken to hospitals with minor to moderate injuries, while one person died at the scene and another fled, according to the CHP.

CHP is asking anyone with information regarding the crash or Reyeslangsjoen’s whereabouts to call 916-861-1300.
