Pleasant Hill man allegedly produced, possessed child pornography, could face 50 years
A Pleasant Hill man has been charged with two counts of child pornography and could face up to 50 years in prison if he’s convicted, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Daniel Joseph Feliciano, 29, was found to have several videos of pre-pubescent children performing sexually explicit acts on his Gmail and Dropbox accounts, according to a news release. Tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children were sent to an Internet Crimes Against Children agent, who received warrants for Feliciano’s house and accounts, the release said.
Feliciano admitted to owning the explicit videos after a raid on his house in December 2019, but initially denied making any of the videos, authorities said. However, one of the children in the videos told authorities that Feliciano had exposed himself to the child nine to 15 times, according to the release.
He was charged with production of child pornography and possessing child pornography, and indicted on Dec. 19. The child porn production charge carries a minimum of 15 years in prison and five years of supervised release, and a maximum of 30 years. The possession charge carries a maximum of 20 years in prison.
Feliciano is due back in court on Feb. 18.
