Sacramento man arrested after Sunday night double shooting in Contra Costa County
A Sacramento man was arrested in Contra Costa County after a Sunday night shooting in Moraga that left two people hospitalized, according to the Moraga Police Department.
Officers found two victims in a car with gunshot wounds near a Starbucks in the Rheem Shopping Center on Moraga Road around 7:30 p.m. Sunday night, according to the release. The victims and witnesses said that the suspect, later identified as Isaiah Glaze, 21, had fled north from the scene.
He was later found near the 400 block of Moraga Road suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The gun was recovered and Glaze was arrested. He and one of the victims were taken to a local hospital.
Investigators say that Glaze and one of the victims had dated in the past, and the incident may be domestic violence related.
