SWAT team, detectives serve warrant in West Sacramento neighborhood, police say
Detectives and SWAT teams with the West Sacramento Police Department served a search warrant at a residence Thursday morning, authorities warrant.
The department said in a tweet around 7:15 a.m. that there is “no danger to the public” despite a heavy law enforcement presence in the 700 block of Beardsley Drive.
Drivers were asked to avoid the location, but the area was clear by midday Wednesday, the department said in a social media update.
A photo posted by the Police Department showed a heavily armored SWAT vehicle and other patrol vehicles outside of a gated single-story residence on Beardsley Drive.
No other details were released.
