Auburn Police Department

A man was arrested in Sacramento on Friday in connection with a pimping investigation that began in Auburn.

In a news release, the Auburn Police Department said Ivy Jones, 33, was taken into custody after officers served a search warrant at an apartment complex on Danbrook Drive in Natomas.

In October, Auburn police arrested two women on suspicion of prostitution during a human trafficking and pimping investigation.

Officers suspected that Jones had been acting as the pimp of the two women, leading to his arrest.

Jones was arrested on suspicion of pandering and pimping. He was booked into the Placer County jail, where he is being held on a $265,000 bail.
