62-year-old Sacramento man killed after crashing into tree near North San Juan, CHP says
A 62-year-old Sacramento man was killed in a traffic accident near North San Juan on Sunday morning after crashing into a tree, according to the California Highway Patrol.
In a news release, the Yuba-Sutter-area CHP said the man was driving a 2010 Pontiac Vibe on Marysville Road west of Middle Brook Way just after 9 a.m.
Responding officers found the car after it had crashed into a tree on the left shoulder of the road. Medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The name of the driver will be released by the Yuba County Coroner pending notification of family.
