Sacramento Police investigating shooting in Robla neighborhood that left 1 injured

A male victim was found with a gunshot wound Thursday night in Sacramento’s Robla neighborhood and hospitalized but is expected to survive, police said.

Officers responded shortly after 10 p.m. to reports of a shooting near the 800 block of Rio Robles Avenues, according to the Sacramento Police Department’s daily activity log.

The male was taken to a hospital and was described by police as being in stable condition. Officer canvassed the area for potential witnesses and surveillance video.

No arrests were made and no suspect description was released. The investigation remains ongoing, according to the police log.
