Roseville police ask public to help identify man who exposed himself to children
Roseville police officials on Thursday asked the public to help identify a man who exposed his genitals to two children earlier this week, and investigators believe he may have done this before.
Investigators released a video of a vehicle they believe belongs to the suspect. It appears to be a teal or blue Ford C-Max, possibly a 2013 model, according to a Roseville Police Department news release.
Officials said the vehicle should have damage on its rear bumper and stickers on the back windshield of a stick-figure family.
The video shows the car driving through a neighborhood. The video footage was captured on a resident’s home security camera, according to the news release.
The incident involving the two kids occurred Tuesday in the area of Champion Oaks Drive and Samoa Way, about 2 miles south of Interstate 80. Police described the suspect as a white man with an orange beard who was wearing a navy-colored shirt.
Officials said investigators believe this suspect has exposed himself to others multiple times throughout the city.
Investigators asked anyone who recognizes the car or thinks the suspect sounds familiar to call the Roseville Police Investigations Unit at 916-746-1059. They also asked Roseville residents who have had an interaction in their neighborhood with the suspect vehicle to report it to police.
