Man dies from shooting injuries after being dropped off at hospital, Stockton Police say

The Stockton Police Department launched an investigation into the death of a man who had been shot and dropped off at an area hospital early Sunday morning.

The man, described as in his 20s, was left at an area hospital about 2:30 a.m. and died from his injuries a short time later, according to a news release. The shooting occurred near Lafayette Street and Glacier Court, which police say may not have been random.

According to the release, no suspect information is currently available to give to the public.
