Officers investigating North Natomas shooting, Sacramento Police say
Police are investigating a Friday night shooting in North Natomas that left one man injured.
Sacramento Police Department spokesman Officer Karl Chan said that officers were sent out to the 2200 block of La Casa Way around 10:50 p.m. on reports of a shooting.
The area is largely residential and is just a few blocks from a large public park.
Responding officers found a man who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, Chan said.
Police determined that a disturbance in the area involving several men escalated into the shooting, but have not made any arrests and do not currently have information regarding possible suspects.
The victim is in stable condition and is expected to survive, according to Chan.
