Wanted rape suspect has ties to Woodland and Colfax, Placer sheriff’s officials say

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday asked the public to help find a man accused of rape who knows law enforcement officials are looking for him.

Dru Skye Hernandez is wanted on suspicion of multiple counts of rape by force or fear and forced sexual penetration on a minor, the Sheriff’s Office announced on its Facebook page.

Officials said Hernandez, 22, is wanted on a $600,000 felony warrant for his arrest, and that Hernandez knows he is wanted by law enforcement.

Hernandez has ties to the areas of Woodland and Colfax, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Officials asked anyone with information on Hernandez or his whereabouts to call sheriff’s Detective Mattison at 530-889-7849.
