8 vehicles hit by gunfire at Elk Grove apartment complex, police say
The Elk Grove Police Department is investigating a shooting early Tuesday morning that damaged eight vehicles. No injuries have been reported, authorities said.
The incident happened at the Bella Vista Apartments, on Di Lusso Drive just off of Bruceville Road, the Police Department said in a tweet just before 6:45 a.m. Eight cars were hit by gunfire, but no buildings appear to have been struck, police said.
The shooting and what led it up to it remain under investigation.
