Man found dead inside Rancho Cordova home, Sheriff’s Office investigating
Detectives are investigating after a man was found dead inside a Rancho Cordova home Thursday morning, authorities said.
Deputies located the deceased victim at a residence in the 10400 block of White Rock Road after responding around 5:15 a.m. to a call regarding an injured man, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Sgt. Tess Deterding said.
The victim suffered “apparent trauma to his body,” but the exact nature of his injuries will be determined via autopsy, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The death is “being considered unnatural,” the news release said.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity pending notification of family.
