Pickup truck driver dies in rollover crash on West Wise Road near Lincoln, CHP says
A man died in a rollover crash Saturday afternoon near Lincoln, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 3:05 p.m. near West Wise Road and Gladding Road, just north of Lincoln, according to the CHP’s Auburn office. Officers arrived to find a green Dodge Ram pickup overturned on its roof, blocking southbound lanes of Gladding Road, authorities said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP. The Placer County Coroner’s Office will identify him after family has been notified.
Traffic in the area was impacted for more than two hours before the roadway reopened shortly after 5 p.m., authorities said.
