Major crash in Granite Bay sends two drivers to the hospital, Placer fire district says

A crash in Granite Bay sent two drivers to the hospital Friday evening, according to fire officials.

The South Placer Fire District said via social media that a pickup truck and a work truck crashed on Auburn Folsom Road near the intersection of Willow Valley Place.

The force of the impact crushed the hood of the pickup truck, and the driver’s side of the work truck suffered significant damage as well.

Fire personnel with the South Placer Fire District were forced to conduct an extrication of the drivers in order to remove them from their vehicles.

First responders took both patients to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment.
