Grass Valley Police Department closes down lobby following vandal’s attack
Grass Valley Police are searching for a vandal who shattered the department’s glass door and a lobby window in a rock-throwing incident Wednesday night.
The department has closed the lobby to the public for safety reasons until workers can repair and reinforce the lobby’s door and windows, according to the department’s Facebook post. Officers will continue to answer phone calls to provide services.
As of now, the police do not have any suspect information or possible motive, but they believe the suspect was acting alone. The investigation is ongoing.
