Amador County Sheriff’s deputies seized “multiple illegal assault rifles” Thursday after a dispute between neighbors, the sheriff’s office said.

Just before midnight, dispatch received a call reporting a dispute in which a man put a gun to his neighbor’s head. Deputies responded and made contact with everyone involved.

“During the course of the investigation multiple illegal assault rifles were located, along with a ‘bump stock,’ and metal knuckles,” the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies arrested Jack Horvath of Pioneer on suspicion of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, criminal threats, and possession of assault weapons, according to a news release.

A photo of the weapons provided by the sheriff’s office showed at least six guns were seized, including two handguns.
