Sacramento police arrest man in connection to fatal South Hagginwood shooting
Sacramento police officers arrested a man last week in connection to a shooting that left one dead and three injured in South Hagginwood, the department said.
Christopher Berger was arrested Thursday in connection to the shooting in the 1200 block of Helena Avenue, police said.
Police responded to the area at 1 a.m. for reports of gunshots Aug. 24. When they arrived, officers found four men who had been shot. One was pronounced dead and the others were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Berger, 22, is being held at Sacramento County Main Jail on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
