Man hospitalized after boat propeller hits him in Sacramento River, fire department says
The Sacramento Fire Department said a man was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after a boat propeller struck him in the Sacramento River.
The department said on social media that they received a call around 3:20 p.m. to report an injured man in the Sacramento River near the 4200 block of Garden Highway, south of the Sacramento International Airport and west of North Natomas.
First responders found that the man had suffered “traumatic wounds” from the blade.
Firefighters took him to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
