Update: Police unable to find man thought holed up in Freeport Manor home
Sacramento police say no one was found at a home in the Freeport Manor neighborhood where a man with a felony arrest warrant was thought to have been holed up Tuesday afternoon.
Police announced about 7:45 p.m. that officers were clearing the area.
Police spokesman Sgt. Doug Morse said officers went to the home in the 1400 block of Hopkins Street, west of Freeport Boulevard, just before 2 p.m. The man was believed to be alone inside the residence, and SWAT officers and negotiators were summoned to try to make contact with the man.
