A man died Tuesday morning when he was struck by a car at a gas station, according to Officer Justin Brown of the Sacramento Police Department.
A woman in her early 50s, who was also hit, was being treated for minor injuries at a hospital.
A woman in her 80s who was driving the car lost control of the vehicle at the gas station at Freeport Boulevard and Fruitridge Road, hitting the two pedestrians, police said.
The man, who was in his late 70s, was pronounced dead at the hospital. His name was not released.

No arrest has been made.
“DUI and drugs were not determined to be a factor at this time,” Brown said.
