Man hospitalized after Upper Land Park shooting, Sacramento police say
Police are investigating a shooting Friday morning in Sacramento’s Upper Land Park neighborhood.
One man was shot and transported to a hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, Sacramento Police Department spokesman Officer Karl Chan said.
Officers responded around 8:30 a.m. to the incident in a residential area in the 600 block of Warner Street near Kit Carson Street, Chan said.
Police remained at the scene as of 11 a.m. canvassing the area for witnesses, evidence and possible surveillance footage.
No suspect information or other details about the incident were immediately available.
