One hospitalized after North Oak Park shooting in Sacramento, police say
One person was injured in a shooting Sunday evening in Sacramento’s North Oak Park neighborhood, police said.
A victim with at least one gunshot wound was taken to a hospital after a shooting around 8:15 p.m. near the 4000 block of Fourth Avenue, Sacramento Police Department spokesman Officer Ryan Woo said. The victim was last reported in stable condition at the hospital, Woo said.
Detectives canvassed the scene for evidence, Woo said, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
No suspect information was available.
