Three shot, one seriously injured in Sacramento’s South Hagginwood neighborhood

Three people were shot Tuesday evening in the South Hagginwood neighborhood of North Sacramento, police said.

One victim was taken to a hospital with injuries described as serious following a shooting around 6 p.m. in the 900 block of Acacia Avenue, Sacramento Police Department spokesman Officer Chad Lewis said.

The other two victims, both women, had non-life-threatening injuries, according to Lewis.

No suspect information or other details were immediately available, Lewis said.
