Rock thrown at Marysville Police Department front glass door; Yuba City man arrested
Officers on Monday afternoon arrested a Yuba City man suspected of throwing a large rock and smashing a front lobby glass door at the Marysville Police Department.
Drevon Raymar Stanley, 31, was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and resisting arrest using force, police officials announced in a news release.
The incident occurred about 2:45 p.m. at the police headquarters at 316 Sixth Street. Police said Stanley threw the large rock through the front glass door, causing about $1,500 worth of damage.
Officers found Stanley standing in front of the Police Department. Police said Stanley resisted arrest before he was taken into custody, and that Stanley had no apparent motive for throwing the rock at the door.
Stanley remained in custody at the Yuba County Jail with his bail set at $15,000.
