Two found dead at home in downtown Sacramento; homicide detectives investigating
Two people were found dead Thursday afternoon in downtown Sacramento, both apparently shot, authorities said.
Officers responded around 3 p.m. to the 1100 block of T Street for a report of an assault, Sacramento Police Department spokesman Officer Ryan Woo said.
Arriving officers located a man and a woman, both deceased and each with at least one gunshot wound, Woo said.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation by homicide detectives, Woo said, and no suspect information was available.
T Street remained closed between 11th and 12th streets as of 6 p.m. due to police activity, Woo said.
No other details were immediately available.
