Police tape at crime scene

A suspect accused of robbing a Davis bank Tuesday evening remains sought by police.

A man entered Banner Bank at 333 F St. in downtown Davis around 5 p.m. and “committed a robbery,” the Davis Police Department said in a social media post.

The unidentified suspect then left the bank on foot and was last seen walking northbound on F Street, away from the bank, police said.

According to police and bank surveillance photos, the suspect is a man between about 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 who was wearing a black hoodie, black surgical-style mask, black backpack, black baseball cap and blue jeans.

No weapon was seen during the robbery, and no injuries were reported. The suspect walked away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The Davis Police Department asks anyone with information about the incident or suspect to contact its dispatch center at 530-747-5400.
