Man, woman arrested after man killed in early-morning ‘altercation’ in Roseville
A man was killed in an “altercation” with another man early Monday morning in Roseville, police said.
Officers responding to the 100 block of North Sunrise Avenue around 3 a.m. determined a fight took place between two men, the Roseville Police Department said in a Facebook post.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, which is a small shopping center just east of Interstate 80 and north of Douglas Boulevard. Police did not specify the cause of death.
The other man involved in the fight fled the scene and was later arrested. He was identified as 21-year-old Andrew Aguiar of Sacramento, according to Roseville police. Police on Tuesday afternoon said an additional person, 19-year-old Shirley Horton of Sacramento “has also been arrested and booked into jail on a charge of accessory to a crime.”
The Police Department asked anyone with information about the case to call 916-774-5000.
