After a shooting at a Sacramento apartment complex, a woman was found shot in the leg

A woman was shot at a North Natomas apartment complex Friday night, according to Sacramento police.

Police responded to the shooting about 8:45 p.m. at the apartment complex at 4500 block of Natomas Central Drive in the Sundance Lake neighborhood also known as Westshore.

The shooting resulted in a female adult being wounded with a non-life-threatening injury to the leg. Police say she was found on the 2200 block of Coroval Drive, 2 miles away in South Natomas before being taken to the hospital.

Police canvassed the area for evidence and witnesses, but no arrests have been made.
