A wanted suspect was taken into custody Thursday evening following a search near Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento County’s Del Paso Park neighborhood, authorities said.

The search closed the 3800 block of Roseville Road in both directions that afternoon, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said in tweets just after 3:30 p.m., as deputies searched for a “wanted felony suspect.”

The suspect was taken into custody shortly before 6:40 p.m., Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Rodney Grassmann said.

The suspect’s identity has not been released, and the nature of the felony charge on which the suspect was wanted was not immediately clear.

The case is being handled by the U.S. Marshals Service, Grassmann said.
