Suicide drama briefly shuts Highway 160
Police shut down southbound lanes of Highway 160 on Saturday morning to investigate a possible suicide.
Officials received a call at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday about a possible male jumper on the southbound lanes of the highway at Leisure Lane, the dispatcher said.
The lanes were reopened shortly after 1 p.m., Sacramento police spokesman Doug Morse said, after the man was safely removed from the highway.
