A teenage homicide suspect wanted out of Oklahoma was arrested in the Sacramento area, police said this week.

Law enforcement officials arrested Kaleb Pelton, 17, in Elk Grove in connection with the fatal Sept. 30 shooting of 18-year-old Fedro Givens at a south Tulsa apartment complex, the Tulsa Police Department said Wednesday in a Facebook post.

Police told Tulsa news outlets including KTUL-TV on Monday that Pelton had been taken into custody in Elk Grove following a murder arrest warrant being issued earlier this month.

It was not clear when Pelton would be extradited to Oklahoma.
