California Highway Patrol officials have released a photo of the suspect vehicle in a hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist earlier this month near American River College in Old Foothill Farms.

A man was riding a bicycle southbound on College Oak Drive near Winding Way just before 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 10 when he was struck by a vehicle that then fled, the CHP’s North Sacramento office said in a social media post.

“The investigation has led to the possible involvement of a white Ford Ranger, single cab, with a unique bed cover,” CHP officials wrote in the post.

A surveillance photo of the suspect vehicle showed a white pickup truck with a brown or maroon bed cover.

The victim has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office as Artem Krolenko, 35, of Sacramento. Krolenko died a few hours after the crash, according to the coroner.

CHP North Sacramento asked anyone with information about the vehicle or its driver to contact its office at 916-348-2300.
