Multiple-vehicle crash clogs traffic on northbound Highway 99 in Sacramento

Several lanes of northbound Highway 99 were blocked for nearly an hour Wednesday afternoon following a collision near the 12th Avenue onramp.

According to state Department of Transportation, the crash occurred after an SUV hit the center divide about 1:20 p.m., and at least six vehicles were involved.

All lanes were reported clear at 2:19 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
