Sacramento-area authorities find four children in unrelated missing person cases

Sacramento-area authorities on Tuesday April, 2023, asked the public to help find four adolescents who were considered at risk in unrelated missing person cases. All four have since been found and were safe.

Elk Grove

Police were looking for a 13-year-old boy who was last seen Sunday in the area of East Stockton Boulevard and Emerald Crest Drive in Elk Grove. He was running away from his family and is considered at risk, the Elk Grove Police Department announced Tuesday afternoon in social media posts.

The Police Department on April 18 confirmed the boy in Elk Grove was found safe and reunited with his family.

Rosemont area

Two brothers, 13 and 11 years old, were located after authorities say they left their home about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on Huntsman Drive in the Rosemont area, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office announced in social media posts.

They were considered at risk due to their age. The Sheriff’s Office on Thursday morning announced that both brother had been found.

Sacramento

Police were looking for a 14-year-old boy last seen in the 5000 block of Franklin Boulevard in the North City Farms neighborhood of Sacramento. He was considered at risk due to his age, the Sacramento Police Department announced Monday night in social media posts.

The Police Department on April 24 confirmed the teen had been “safely located.”
