Authorities are investigating a stabbing late Tuesday that wounded a man during a fight near a Sacramento Regional Transit light rail train station in Rancho Cordova.

The fight was reported about 11:20 p.m. near the Zinfandel Station, said Jessica Gonzalez, a RT spokeswoman. She said two men were involved in the fight, and one of them was hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Gonzalez said on Wednesday that RT police services were investigating the stabbing and that no arrests had been made. She said police were not releasing any suspect description at this time, but the investigation remained active.
