Boy, 15, stabbed in Arden Arcade shopping center, Sacramento sheriff says

A teenage boy was stabbed Thursday evening in Sacramento County’s Arden Arcade area, authorities said.

The boy, 15, was located near a shopping center at the corner of Watt and Whitney avenues shortly before 9 p.m. after being stabbed at least once in his torso, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Amar Gandhi said.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, Gandhi said.

Deputies are investigating the stabbing, Gandhi said. No suspect information is available.
