Teen sought in armed robbery at Sacramento City College

Two people were robbed at gunpoint Friday night at Sacramento City College, according to the Los Rios District Police Department.

A young male approached two men at the college’s tennis courts, pointed a gun at them and demanded money, police said. One of the victims took out his cellphone. The juvenile took it and fled east on Sutterville Road, police said.

The victims were not students.

Police are searching for the juvenile, who was described as a skinny, black male with a dark complexion, believed to be between 13 and 15 years old. He is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing a baby-blue, hooded sweatshirt; black jeans; and baby-blue, high-top sneakers. He was carrying a red backpack at the time of the incident.
