2 arrested in connection with Fair Oaks homicide. Deputies say they are mother and son
Sacramento sheriff’s deputies arrested two people Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of their Fair Oaks roommate.
A mother and son were arrested in connection with the death of their roommate, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Amar Gandhi said. The body of the victim, identified as a man in his 40s, was found on the 5200 block of Kenneth Avenue.
The 55-year-old woman is facing a charge of murder and the 25-year-old man is expected to be charged as an accessory to the homicide.
The death was reported around 9 a.m. after the body was found, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said. Sheriff’s officials the victim died from at least one gunshot wound.
The mother and son suspects are expected to appear in court together Friday.
