Man stabbed in torso at Greenback and Sunrise in Citrus Heights, police say
A man was injured Monday night after being stabbed in the torso in Citrus Heights.
According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, officers were dispatched to the area of Greenback Lane and Sunrise Boulevard about 5:30 p.m. after receiving multiple calls. Officers found a man with a stab wound, which was not considered life-threatening.
The victim was taken to a hospital.
Detectives had closed eastbound Greenback Lane between Sunrise and Arcadia Drive to investigate the incident, police said in a news release.
No suspects were named but police believe the incident was “isolated.”
