Sacramento detectives investigate homicide after man found dead inside Rio Linda home
Sacramento County sheriff’s detectives are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead Wednesday in Rio Linda.
Deputies responded about 7:30 p.m. to a report of a suspicious death in the 6600 block of 14th Street, said Sgt. Amar Gandhi, a spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office.
Gandhi said that detectives found injuries on the body of the victim consistent with a homicide, but no further information was immediately available.
The cause of death will be determined by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office, he said.
